What I do

Website Creation

I became interested in website creation and SEO the day my dad told me all about Google Adsense and how it works when I was about 14 years old…. My dad, Stephan Spencer, was the owner and founder of Netconcepts before he sold it to Covario, so he knows all there is to know about SEO. He told me about one of his websites at the time, Innsite, that makes thousands of dollars with Google Adsense ads. And I thought, hey, now that’s an idea!

So I thought to myself, what am I an expert at online…and I thought, Neopets. So I made a website on the world famous Neopets.com, an ultra-popular virtual pet site, now owned by Nickelodeon. I thought since Neopets was one of the number one kid sites in the world at the time, and thousands of fans are looking for “game cheats”, and also since I was quite an expert on it, I’d make a ‘Neopets cheats site’. And my site NeopetsFanatic.com, became one of the most popular Neopets cheats site on the net! My site got more popular than I’d ever had thought, and made me more money than I would ever have dreamed of making at 15 years old! I made 5 figures of passive income by the time I was 17.

Later on I had an idea and launched a second site, QuizFanatic.com, at age 16. But unfortunately I never finished it, for Myspace went out of style. Quizfanatic was going to be a site full of fun personality quizzes for teenagers, with results as graphics you can copy and paste onto your Myspace page. I created all the quizzes on there myself, and it was a lot of fun for me when I was younger. Since I never built it any farther, I’ll be looking for someone to take QuizFanatic over. As you can see, the few quizzes on the site generated a lot of comments from fans, so I believe the site to still have potential if it had a different spin on it. I also had an idea at the time about another site to create, IHeartCute.com, a fashion site and blog. I bought the domain name and set it up on WordPress, but I’m still trying to find the time to build all the content! I will soon, and once it’s up and running I plan to build that brand and use Google Adsense with it also. I have so many ideas that sometimes jump to the next one too quickly! But that changes easily once I buckle down and get down to business.

I am currently building a new website, and it’s just about ready to launch. But it’s a surprise until then! Stay tuned on ChloeSpencer.com!

SEO

After 7 years of first-hand personal experience in SEO and acquiring immense knowledge on the topic, I have branched out and decided to share my knowledge with others as an individual consultant for SEO and website creation/management for clients. If you are interested in my services contact me by email at chloe(@)neopetsfanatic.com (parenthesis for spam protection).

Other Projects

I am currently working on a training program on how to make money online. I’m still in the process of filming and building the product, but it will be finished sometime next year. I also recently designed a new website idea and Facebook application, and am in the process of looking for programmers and graphic designers to build it. By the way, if you are a programmer or a graphic designer, or know any who might be interested in this project, please email me!

Charities

I have always had a passion for giving back, a passion for helping others, animals, and the planet. Becoming a vegetarian 7 years ago was one step, participating in projects such as The 40 Hour Famine (by World Vision) in middle school and high school was another, being a part of the conservation group to restore Blumine Island off the coast of New Zealand was yet another, among my many awareness-provoking Huffington Post articles and my goals for eye-opening documentaries, but the biggest so far was creating The Vegetarian Charity. I created The Vegetarian Charity in 2008, in Madison where I lived–my goal was to gain donations to put together vegetarian holiday meal baskets to deliver to those who are less fortunate (found through churches and homeless shelters) on the eves of Thanksgiving and Christmas. But then something unexpected happened, around the time I had just started putting up posters and fliers and getting the word out about my charity; I moved to Los Angeles. It was a Madison-based project, and somehow I don’t think it’s as safe to go walking the streets of LA delivering free food to the poor. So, the site is temporarily down (thevegetariancharity.com), and I’m going to think of a new way to transform the charity to fit my location. So stay tuned!

Modeling and Acting

Funnily enough, I am also a model, and was with an agency in Madison for a couple years, doing photo shoots as well as filming music videos and movies. I have been an actor since I was young, involved in several drama groups, The Harliquen Players for years, performing in plays to the public. I love to model and I love to act. So now that I’m based in LA, I definitely plan to further my modeling and acting career as a fun side hobby. :)

Before NeopetsFanatic.com, I had never imagined that I would be a business owner at age 14. Now I’m a successful online entrepreneur, and it’s a casual title for myself! It’s amazing how success just hits you, especially when you’re least expecting it…I was young and had no idea of my potential at the time. Now that I’m in my 20′s, I’m on to much bigger projects, and aspire to be a multi-million dollar business and charity owner someday (one of my big goals is to design and create a new kind of nursing home). I’m so thankful for my dad who helped me up the first baby steps of my career, leading me onto becoming a young entrepreneur, and for all the people who have helped me along the way and have given me amazing opportunities, and of course, for all my wonderful fans and readers.
